The Challenge

An invisible complexity

Every day, in the traffic office of Cianfrocca Logistics Ways, a company specializing in integrated logistics for over 60 years, hundreds of orders arrive.
The variability of incoming data is the main challenge: each customer communicates differently, via email, WhatsApp, text notes, or often incomplete shipping documents.
The back-office operators share the same inbox and manually read, interpret, and copy the volume of received information into the company management system.

The need that has come to light
A new, smoother process

Every order required 3 minutes to be read, a process multiplied 100 times a day.

The transformation journey began with a first concrete goal: automating the acquisition of incoming orders, structuring data and requests that until then had been managed in a fragmented way.

The solution
An AI co-pilot that transforms chaos into an orderly, manageable flow

Aura is designed to intervene exactly where the system breaks down: at the beginning of the process. It doesn’t replace the management system or the operators’ work, but improves it by learning from them.
It automatically intercepts emails, extracts relevant information and organizes it into “orders to review”. The operator simply needs to validate the order with one click and send it. These are the core features of the system:

  • each email is transformed into a unique key (hash), avoiding duplicates;
  • if an order is modified, Aura recognizes it and updates it;
  • implicit rules or best practices can be configured directly by the operators;
  • orders can be automatically assigned to them.

A change at the decision-making level

The time taken to place an order is drastically reduced, but the real change lies in decision-making. Operators can finally focus on what really matters: supporting drivers, managing unforeseen events and long-term operational planning.

Do you face a similar challenge?

The first step was to automate the acquisition of orders, which arrived in an unstructured way, before moving on at a later stage thanks to artificial intelligence, to a true planning assistant.

Humans.tech’s role in the transformation was not only to provide a tailored technological solution, but also to go into the field to observe and understand the processes and the daily work of the people involved. Planning has improved significantly. Time has been optimized, errors have been reduced and, above all, the quality of the operators’ work has improved enormously. There is great satisfaction and a better output of the work done.

Towards a new business model

The introduction of Aura has produced tangible benefits: optimization of operational time, reduction of errors, and an overall increase in the effectiveness of the activities performed.

And it is precisely this solid foundation that points the way to the next stage of innovation: the evolution into a platform capable of linking multiple variables – such as timing, availability and context – to provide increasingly intelligent support.

Aura wasn’t born from a technical requirement. It was born from observation. During the discovery phase, we spent hours in the traffic office, working alongside the operations team and observing real workflows.
We uncovered things no document could ever reveal: implicit rules, habits, and well-established decision-making patterns. Aura doesn’t replace human experience; it amplifies it.
